The right diagnosis leads to right treatment and right outcomes.
Where you go first matters
Lymphoma is a complex cancer, with more than 60 different subtypes. That’s why selecting where you go first for treatment matters. At MD Anderson, we have an entire team of subspecialists dedicated to diagnosing and treating lymphoma, which means our patients receive the highest level of care. Our blood cancer experts have treated every type of lymphoma – even the rarest. This deeper level of understanding means each patient receives an accurate diagnosis and the right treatment plan, from the beginning. Our pathologists have experience diagnosing rare lymphomas that most pathologist will never encounter, and they correct or refine a new patient’s diagnosis of lymphoma up to 25% of the time once they arrive at MD Anderson.
The power of multidisciplinary care
At MD Anderson, we have an integrated team of blood cancer experts who only focus on lymphoma, including pathologists, medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists and other specialized clinicians. Working together, this team ensures each patient receives a comprehensive, accurate treatment plan customized to their specific needs.
We have changed our visitation guidelines in response to the 2019
novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
