Research Focus
Research in our laboratory focuses on the identification and characterization of human rare disease genes, their mutations and variants that underlie several Mendelian diseases.
Our goals are:
- To understand how this genetic variation contributes to clinical phenotypes and causes human disease.
- To identify potential entry points for
therapeutic intervention by dissecting the underlying
patho-mechanisms.
