Over the past two decades, the Department of Epigenetics and Molecular Carcinogenesis has worked to translate basic biomedical research and discoveries to a variety of target audiences. Ongoing community outreach activities include campus tours, speaking to community groups about cancer prevention, and job shadowing for local high school students. Faculty members have also given age-appropriate presentations to local K-12 schools about cancer and other scientific topics. We also have educational programs for high school and college students.
