Cancer-Related Fatigue Clinic

An integrated team of physicians, nurse practitioners and nurse clinicians provide a comprehensive approach to the management of fatigue.

The Cancer-Related Fatigue Clinic uses various tools to assess a patient's fatigue burden. Based on the results, a specialized program of care is designed to ease fatigue and help patients cope with cancer treatment. Therapies help address the physical and emotional symptoms of fatigue, and may include:

  • Physical or occupational therapy
  • Psychiatry
  • Acupuncture
  • Self-hypnosis

MD Anderson patients can be referred into the Fatigue Clinic by their primary MD Anderson physician.
