Healthy Recipe Contest

Calling all food lovers! The Children’s Cancer Hospital is hosting a Healthy Recipe Contest, and we want your entries.

Submit your favorite family-oriented, healthy recipe for a chance to win prizes and to have your recipe included in the Children’s Cancer Hospital eCookbook as part of the ON (Optimizing Nutrition) to Life Program. Obesity is on the rise, and you can take a role in encouraging families to eat right.

Members of the Children’s Cancer Hospital eCookbook committee will judge the recipes based on the following criteria:

  • Creativity
  • Taste
  • Level of difficulty

And the winner is...

A winner from each category will be selected and will receive a cooking apron from the Children's Art Project. Prizes will also be awarded to the grand prize winner, first runner up and second runner up.

Prizes include gift packages from the Houston Dynamo, the Houston Astros, the Houston Zoo, Pinot's Palette and Studio Movie Grill. The grand prize winner's dish will be featured at MD Anderson's Lantern Cafe in the Pickens Academic Tower.
