How can I request someone to serve as my advocate?
At registration, every patient is assigned a patient advocate who serves as a liaison between the patient and MD Anderson. Patient advocates provide an opportunity in a confidential setting to voice a complaint, concern or problem, or to seek a resolution. They also provide information about resources and services available to patients and families, as well as education about patient rights and responsibilities.
How can I submit a concern, complaint or issue?
You may contact Patient Advocacy directly at 713-792-7776.
Another option is to send a message online through MyChart.
1. Select "My Messages" after you log in to your account
2. Select "Ask Customer Service"
3. Select "Complaint" from the drop-down list
