APRN Current Fellows - Alysson Perrin, Emily Lemke and Jessica ScheifenThe Post Graduate Fellowship in Oncology Nursing is designed to provide advanced practice nurses an opportunity to experience a twelve-month fellowship in oncology nursing at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center – recognized as one of the top cancer centers in the nation. The fellowship will include a curriculum of clinical experiences that will ensure exposure to the entire spectrum of oncology care, from prevention to end-of-life.

Program Length:

12 months (September - August)

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum of a clinical master's degree in nursing from an accredited university by May, prior to fellowship start date
  • Recognized as a clinical nurse specialist or nurse practitioner by the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Licensed as a registered nurse by the Texas Board of Nursing
  • A minimum of two years of RN clinical nursing experience

Compensation:

  • Paid, full-time employee of MD Anderson Cancer Center
  • Accumulate paid time off (PTO)
  • Health insurance
