MD Anderson Alumni & Faculty Association

Established in 1983, the MD Anderson Alumni & Faculty Association is an organization of former and current students, educational trainees, and faculty members of MD Anderson Cancer Center. Association membership begins after six months of cumulative faculty, trainee or student activity at MD Anderson.

We aspire to maintain communication and connectivity to all former and current faculty members, students, and trainees who have worked, trained or received a degree from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Our goal is to create and provide forums and other opportunities to foster fellowship among our current faculty, students and trainees; to enhance communication with alumni; and to promote ongoing feedback as to how we can continue to improve our work and educational environment.

The Alumni & Faculty Association Steering Committee, which is composed of current and former faculty members, students, educational trainees, and administrators, in collaboration with the department of Academic and Visa Administration, hosts events and special awards, including Trainee Research Day, the Trainee Excellence Awards, the Distinguished Alumnus Award and the Mike Hogg Award.
