MD Anderson's Integrative Medicine Program is dedicated to providing educational opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, healthcare professionals, employees, and the public.

Education Events

Include conferences, courses, and lectures from international experts in the field of integrative medicine. Our educational events are designed to explore and disseminate current topics, trends, and innovations in integrative oncology.

Education Programs

For existing and future health care professionals the Integrative Medicine Program offers excellent internship and program overview workshops in the area of integrative medicine. Our program consists of three components: education, research and clinical delivery and affords students and visitors the opportunity to explore the dynamics of integrative oncology.

Adjunct to our events and programs we provide online education. The Integrative Medicine Program and The Integrative Medicine Center web pages provide authoritative, current information for health care professionals, caregivers and patients who want to know more about how to safely supplement conventional cancer care with complementary and integrative medicine therapies. Our intention is to provide evidence-based information to improve the lives of patients who choose to use these therapies under the direction of informed physicians.
