Reported Thefts Decrease in April
For the month of April, UT Police observed a drop in reported thefts. A total of 34 Thefts were reported in March compared to 23 in April. Thanks to the community for working together to secure unattended work areas, display UT ID Badges in the workplace and to report suspicious persons immediately to the UT Police. Keep up the good work!

Traffic Alerts - Holcombe
The City of Houston has started the Holcombe Reconstruction and Area Drainage Project that runs through May 2009. The project will involve road work, temporary removal of the median and realignment of lanes on Holcombe from Braeswood to Fannin. Traffic delays are expected through the duration of the project.

The Texas Department of Safety has established a web site as the official Internet source for Sex Offender Registration information. Information regarding registered sexual offenders by name or location is available. When searching the database, make sure the records you access through this site pertain to the person about whom you are seeking information.
