MD Anderson Cancer Center
Date: January 2014
Time: 00:41

Scene 5:

Facilitator: See if this feels right, OK. It would be, I'm really angry, and it would be really nice if you acknowledged that I have a right to be angry. That I shouldn't have had to wait out there for four hours, and you feel badly about it even though you have no control over it. That would feel really good. Does that feel right -

Dr. Jacobs: Yeah. That's really, that's true -

Facilitator: So put it in your own words.

Dr. Jacobs: So I just want you to acknowledge the fact that it's reasonable for me to be really angry right now. Any reasonable person would be angry, and that you wished that you could make it better, that we had a better system even though we really don't have much control over the situation.
