Donation Guidelines for Department of Volunteer Services
Volunteer Voice - Spring 2008
Volunteer Services thanks you in advance for your assistance in keeping the number of items donated to our department to those that are new and needed.
Items accepted include:
- Current magazines (issues no older than three months) will be accepted. Paperback books only.
- Due to infection control, only new toys and games will be accepted for pediatrics.
- Only new hats, scarves and head coverings will be accepted in the Beauty/Barber Shop.
- New handcrafted items including pillows, tote bags, quilts, throws, stoma covers and tray favors will be accepted.
All other items, such as wigs, toiletries, puzzles and flower vases will be purchased as needed for our patients. No random donated items will be accepted and all donation deliveries should be prearranged with staff.
