Volunteer Voice - Srping 2008
Every fall, employees and volunteers come together to form a special task force to sell Children’s Art Project cards and gift items. Employees volunteer their lunch hours and volunteers work extra shifts.
In this photo, volunteer Jan Sheehy shows off products from CAP while working her Task Force shift. The “Snowman” platter and dessert plates and the Radko “Boot” ornament were top sellers this year and contributed to sales of more than $193,000 this year. The special partnership of CAP, Volunteer Services and the Volunteer Gift Shops results in proceeds that fund patient programs and volunteer activities.
