Race to end cancer

The Grand Prix of Houston revved up MD Anderson’s mission to eradicate cancer, generating more than $160,000 for cancer research and patient care initiatives.

Lyle Lovett, a Grammy Award-winning country singer-songwriter and actor, supported the event as a celebrity go-kart driver.

Home away from home

Angel “Angie” Jimenez is the founder and former owner of Mclean Cargo Specialists, an international freight forwarding and export packer. He came to MD Anderson as a prostate cancer patient seven years ago and later was treated for bladder cancer. He’s proud to be a two-time survivor.
