Radio host Andrew Schorr is a chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) survivor diagnosed in 1996. This is the most common form of leukemia in adults. By connecting with a world renowned expert, Dr. Michael Keating , and entering a clinical trial, Andrew’s disease has remained in remission for seven years. In this wide ranging interview, Andrew tells his story of terror at being diagnosed with a usually fatal and unfamiliar condition and then finding hope from a medical team that specializes in the condition.
