Briefs: 'The Power of Hope'

More than 500 participants shared “The Power of Hope” this year at the Anderson Network Living Fully With and Beyond Cancer Conference. Whether they were in active treatment, concerned about survivorship issues or acted as caregivers, there was pertinent information for each one during the panels and breakout sessions, as well as opportunities to network and time to laugh. Keynote speakers Vince Papale and Julie Silver, M.D., offered reflections on their own cancer journeys; then Jeanne Robertson, a former Miss North Carolina, brought the house down with her humorous take on life.
