Eddy Lecture on Evidence-Based Guidelines Set Nov. 17

Physician-mathematician David Eddy, M.D., Ph.D., returns to MD Anderson Nov. 17 to present a half-day learning experience about use of evidence-based guidelines for alumni of the Clinical Safety and Effectiveness program.

Eddy first used the term “evidence-based medicine” in 1990. He is an internationally recognized authority on such topics as practice guidelines, outcomes research, technology assessment, mathematical modeling, performance measurement, rationing and priority setting.
