Annual Report - Winter 2009

With a faculty that includes more than 1,400 scientists and clinicians, MD Anderson is able to move discoveries from the laboratory to patients where they can be assessed in clinical trials. These advances are aided by our knowledge of the human genome and the mechanisms that regulate gene expression, as well as by advances in technology and a greater understanding of the impact of behavioral and environmental factors.
