"About two weeks after I had a regular mammogram, I got a call saying it was abnormal and that I should have more tests. I was scared, but I knew about the new Cancer Manager Program that Randalls has with M. D. Anderson. I called and within a few minutes had an appointment for the same week. From that first phone call, I felt like every single person I encountered at M. D. Anderson truly cared about me. After being examined and having a series of ultrasound tests, I got the good news that it was n't cancer but a cyst. Some of the nurses in the clinic clapped and hugged me. I am adopted and don't know anything about my birth parents, so I have no idea if I have a history of breast cancer or any other cancer in my family. I already have an appointment at M. D. Anderson for an annual followup."
