The Department of Institutional Research provides assistance to the various educational components of M. D. Anderson for the purpose of assessing the effectiveness of programs as they relate to faculty, staff, students, patients and our community. 

Our office is responsible for coordination of the institutional academic accreditation documentation required by our accrediting agency, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).  The staff also assists with assessment for other academic accreditations including the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
