Department of Chaplaincy
This department offers regular worship services, intercessory prayers, sacramental ministry and pastoral support.
This department can help patients and families affected by the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Professionally trained counselors are available for counseling, support groups, community resources, Medical Power of Attorney and Living Wills and special programs including bereavement counseling, self-hypnosis and relaxation and sexuality counseling.
Shampoos, haircuts, shaves, wigs, scarves and hats are available for patients at no charge by Volunteer Services.
The Learning Center
With two locations, the Learning Center provides the latest information about health, cancer and cancer prevention. Resources include brochures, general reference and health books, medical reference books, Internet access for medical and health information, audiotapes, videotapes, medical journals and newsletters, medical and consumer health databases and book and video sales.
Cancer Prevention Center
The Cancer Prevention Center offers cancer risk assessment and risk reduction counseling programs to educate individuals on ways to reduce cancer risk.
Rotary House Hotel
The Jesse H. James Rotary House International provides a homelike environment. All rooms and suites have refrigerators, microwaves, dishes, dishwashers, irons and more. A restaurant, lounge, indoor swimming pool and other amenities are located on site. Patient Guest Relations staff is available to assist guests.
Patient Travel Services
Patient Travel Services can help with flight arrangements, car rentals and hotel accommodations.
Integrative Medicine Program
The Integrative Medicine Program provides a warm, welcoming environment where anyone touched by cancer may enhance their quality of life through programs that focus on the mind, body and spirit. Such programs include yoga, tai chi, music therapy, art and humor sessions, nutrition classes, guided imagery, meditation, support groups and much more.

ALCASE is an advocacy, support and education organization that helps people with lung cancer and their families.
American Brain Tumor Association
ABTA offers information to patients including research and treatment information, physician referrals, treatment facilities and support groups.
American Cancer Society
ACS is a nation-wide, community-based organization with chartered divisions in every state. ACS focuses on research and education but provides some patient and community services.
American Chronic Pain Association
ACPA is a self-help organization that offers educational material and peer support to help people combat, cope and/or live with chronic pain.
Breast Cancer Network of Strength
Formerly known as Y-ME, this national organization provides support to individuals concerned about, or diagnosed with, breast cancer. Free hotline staffed by trained counselors and volunteers.
Oncologist-approved cancer information from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)
Provides online social workers to answer questions and offer guidance, education materials and telephone support groups.
Cancer Hope Network
Offers one-to-one support to all cancer patients and their families by trained volunteers who have undergone treatment themselves.
Cancer Information Service
CIS is a program of the National Cancer Institute, a government agency, providing information for people with cancer, their families and healthcare professionals.
Cleaning for a Reason
Offers free professional housecleaning and maid services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for cancer - any type of cancer.

Provides support, education, research and advocacy for colorectal cancer patients
Corporate Angel Network, Inc.
CAN finds free transportation (on corporate planes) for cancer patients who need medical treatment.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, LLS has invested more than $600 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.
National Association of Hospital Hospitality Houses, Inc.
The organization represents a network of “Hospital Hospitality Houses” giving free or low-cost temporary housing to families or patients receiving treatment away from home.
National Cancer Institute
NCI is the government agency responsible for conducting and supporting research on cancer. Provides information to patients including the latest types of cancer treatments and research studies.
National Family Caregivers Association
Provides education, support, respite care and advocacy for caregivers including support groups.
National Marrow Donor Program
(NMDP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating an opportunity for all patients to receive the bone marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant they need, when they need it.
