Working in collaboration with CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital, M. D. Anderson is providing cutting edge radiation therapy in the Katy area. The radiation treatment center features the latest technology and approaches to deliver the highest quality patient care possible, including:

  • A state of the art dual energy linear accelerator with full Image Guided Radiotherapy capabilities
  • Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
  • Computerized tomography treatment simulation
  • Ultrasound guided localization of the prostate gland for radiation therapy

Faculty

Dr. Gregory ChronowskiDr.Gregory Chronowski is board certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology and has an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. He has a broad background in treating all adult cancers with radiation therapy and has extensive experience using intensity modulated radiation therapy to treat selected tumors. He also has experience in performing prostate brachytherapy, and combining radiation with chemotherapy for certain cancers.

Dr. Chronowski participates in the multidisciplinary tumor board held on the campus of CHRISTUS St. Catherine and in the multidisciplinary care of patients with Head and Neck cancers at the main campus in the Texas Medical Center.

However, in order to provide the highest level of patient care to the Katy area community, Dr. Chronowski's primary practice location is at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Radiation Treatment Center in Katy.
