Clinical Center for Targeted Therapy
The Clinical Center for Targeted Therapy provides access to cutting-edge treatments being studied in Phase I clinical trials. Our physicians and nurses collaborate with other care centers to determine if current patients are eligible for participation in a Phase I clinical trial. We also accept referrals from prospective patients and physician referrals.
The center's goals are to:
Provide excellent patient care- Maintain seamless integration between research and patient care
- Promote a high level of awareness among center personnel about how to conduct cross-disease treatment
- Encourage strong teamwork among center personnel
- Administer new drugs safely
- Keep in close contact with referring physicians
- Meet regulatory requirements
- Increase the number of high-impact protocols to offer a wider and better selection of drug choices
