Integrative treatment for cancer and heart disease

Cancer Newsline - 02/03/2014

MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Cardiology Department is recognized nationally and internationally for its aggressive heart disease therapies not readily available in most communities. Jean-Bernard Durand, M.D., associate professor in Cardiology at MD Anderson, discusses how MD Anderson treats cancer patients with pre-existing heart disease, heart conditions that develop while undergoing cancer treatment and heart problems that arise after cancer treatment. Since MD Anderson has a world-renowned cardiology department, Durand also explains why non-cancer heart patients would come to MD Anderson for treatment.

Guest: Jean-Bernard Durand, M.D.
