Volunteer Benefits

Although the highest rewards for volunteer service are both intangible and immeasurable, MD Anderson Cancer Center recognizes your time and work performance by extending the following benefits:


Free self-parking is available for all volunteers during their volunteer shift. Details are available following volunteer placement.

Cafeteria Discounts

Volunteer ID badge must be presented.


  • Free Flu Shots for adults, 18 years and older

Additional Benefits:

  • Annual volunteer recognition – service pins presented for hours worked and a gala recognition event to say "thank you" for a job well done!
  • Volunteer Voice – volunteer newsletter mailed three times a year to active volunteers.
