Registration/Fundraising/Teams
REGISTER TODAY for the 16th Annual SPRINT FOR LIFE! - online registration or mail in entry form!
Online Registration closes on Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
Our new, integrated site makes it easier than ever to register as a Sprint for Life runner/walker, create or join a running/walking/fundraising team or fundraise only.
Step #1: Register for the Race:
Select one of the following registration types:
- 5K Competitive Runner (includes disposable timing tag)
- 5K Non-competitive Runner/Walker (time will not be recorded)
- Sprout (age 12 and under – time will not be recorded)
Children 12 and under who wish to receive their times must register as 5K – Competitive Runners. - Sprinting in Spirit (cannot attend, but wish to donate)
- You will receive via mail a race t-shirt, race bib, Sprint for Life pin and shoelaces
- With your permission, we will post your name on our Spirit Board
- Wear your Sprint gear on Race Day wherever you are to show your support for this important cause
- Fundraise Only (cannot attend, but wish to raise funds)
Notes for Corporate Teams:
- Corporations wishing to purchase competitive teams ($300 for the first Team; $200 for each additional Team), and Sponsors qualifying for complimentary teams, please contact gynonccommunityrelations@mdanderson.org
- Corporate Teams consist of 3-5 members: all male, all female, or mixed; usually competing against other Corporate Teams
Notes for Organized Groups:
- Groups consist of 3 or more runners and/or walkers - the more, the better, participating in honor or in memory of someone, or simply to support ovarian cancer research
- Often a mixture of competitive runners, non-competitive runners or walkers, Sprouts (age 12 or under), and Sprinting in Spirit (unable to attend but with us in spirit)
- Prizes are awarded for most members and most Sprint Spirit
- Group Leaders: register yourself and your Group online
- Group Members: register online and select your group from the list after your group leader has registered your group
Step #2: If you choose to be a fundraiser, you can upload a photo, share your story, and invite your friends to donate to your page. If you are pressed for time, you can do this later by following the link in the e-mail you receive.
Step #3: If you are part of a walking/running group, or if you wish to raise funds as part of a group, go to your profile page, select the Teams tab and select your team from the list. If you are the team leader, create your team by entering the Team Name.
Entry Fees
Participants wearing disposable timing tags are eligible to win prizes. HARRA members receive a $2 discount off registration with a special discount code.

Parking
Free parking will be available in the Braeswood Garage. Please follow parking signs and race marshal instructions. Parking is also available in other TMC garages or lots at standard hourly rates.
