Kids Activities

The Sprint for Sprouts Kids' Run is a non-competitive mini road race for children 12 and under. Children who participate receive a special Sprint ribbon.
The first race is the Tot Trot for very young children (3 years and younger) who will run about 150 feet. The second race is the 1K, just over half a mile. This race is for all children (under 12 years old) who want to run the full 1K.
Sprint for Sprouts Race Guidelines
- Children should wear comfortable clothing and exercise shoes to ensure safety on the race course. There will be a warm-up (stretching exercises) before the race
- All children must be registered and wearing their official race number in order to participate before the race begins
- Children must be accompanied in the race by a parent or legal guardian. Children must also comply with instructions from volunteers who are stationed along the course
- Races will be held rain or shine
