How You Can Help
Smithville Cure on the Colorado Benefit
The Friends of Science Park present the third annual Cure on the Colorado, an exciting evening of dinner and live blues music on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Riverbend Park in Smithville, TX. The Peterson Brothers Band has been booked for an evening of fun, with food, dancing, exhibits, and silent and live auctions.

Proceeds will benefit education and research at The Virginia Harris Cockrell Cancer Research Center at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Science Park. This Central Texas research facility is recognized as a world leader in research on the molecular basis of cancer cause and prevention. Private support is an integral part of our research and training efforts. Donations provide seed money for innovative ideas and projects, and are critical for our educational and outreach programs.
