The Original Triumphs Band

The Triumphs has roots that go back to the early days of rock 'n roll. This nine-piece, Rosenberg TX-based band had several #1 hits on Houston's KILT top 40 Survey in the early 60's and launched the career of 5-time Grammy award winner B.J. Thomas. The band reunited in 1992 and continues to perform hits from the 50's and 60's. From their website: Our music menu for the evening will range from Elvis to the Eagles. Chuck Berry to Chicago, the Beatles to Bobby Bland, and maybe even a polka or two. We have a true understanding of all the nostalgia behind our music because we were an important part of the era that launched Old Tyme Rock 'N Roll.

Photos from the 2013 Cure

The 2013 Cure on the Colorado was a great success, with nearly $20,000 raised and a fantastic show by the Petersen Brothers Band. The funds raised will directly benefit education at Science Park by supporting a graduate student stipend for one year. Many thanks to all of our sponsors, donors, attendees and volunteers.
