Aviva, age 18 - Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML)
I have been fighting cancer since 2001. My first diagnosis of Lymphoma is in remission, however I am now diagnosed with AML. I underwent a stem cell transplant in 2003, but my remission was not long and I relapsed in 2004. I am now close to remission and will receive another stem cell transplant soon. Your donation helps me with my treatment. I need countless blood and platelet transfusions while my body’s bone marrow is broken down and built up again. I will fight to survive again, yet I cannot do this alone. Donors such as you are my “angels”. Thank you for allowing me to see another day, another sunset, another sunrise.
