Science Park - Research Division has established and maintains up-to-date, shared resources that support the center's research programs. Several of these on-site resources are formalized as Facility Cores:

  • Bioinformatics & Biostatistics
  • Confocal Microscopy Core
  • DNA Methylation Analysis Core
  • Flow Cytometry Core
  • Genetic Services
  • Histology & Tissue Processing
  • Molecular Biology Core
  • Mutant Mouse Pathology Service
  • Next-Generation Sequencing Core
  • Protein & Metabolite Analysis Facility
  • Research Animal Support Facility
  • Transgenic Animal Core

In addition, a partnership has been formed with the School of Pharmacy and the Institute for Cellular and Molecular Biology at The University of Texas at Austin to provide state-of-the-art instrumentation for mass spectrometric analysis of proteins, serum and small molecules. This Analytical Instrumentation Facility Core is located at the School of Pharmacy on The University of Texas at Austin campus.

Other major support components, those of Animal Resources, provide comprehensive support for research projects utilizing rodent and aquatic animal models.
