The PROSPR Shared Resource consists of one faculty member in Behavioral Science, one faculty member from Biostatistics, one research manager, three data managers, one statistical analyst and two research coordinators, all of whom have experience with PRO, quality of life and behavioral studies.
Database Development
Expertise and resources related to database development includes the following:
- Data modeling and database design
- QDS Design Studio
- SQL server based applications
- Microsoft Access database applications
- Second entry modules
- Adaptive randomization/minimization
Data Management
Expertise and resources include the following:
- Data standardization
- Data architecture and definition
- Data quality control (integrity, accuracy, completeness and usefulness)
- Data comparisons with quality assurance tools and processes
- Data conversion with special programs
- Data warehousing with QDS warehouse manager
- Data entry
Computer-Based Assessments
Expertise and resources related to computer-assisted assessments include the following:
- Computer-administered interviews (with or without audio) with QDS Design Studio
- Electronic Patient Diaries
Development of New Measures Consulting
The Core director, co-director and manager will work with investigators to develop measurement tools for specialized assessments. Core personnel will help researchers to design procedures to develop item pools, ensure content validity and conduct reliability and validity testing.
