DNA Analysis Facility
The DNA Analysis Facility (DAF) combines state-of-the-art technology with a high level of technical expertise to provide MD Anderson investigators with reliable nucleic acid analysis in a centralized facility. The facility’s primary focus is on traditional and next generation sequencing technologies.

Please contact the DNA Analysis team at (713) 834-6197 for guidelines on sample preparation and forms for sample submission.
Education
Consultation services are available to principal investigators. These include project and budget planning, technology reviews and assistance selecting the appropriate technology. Additional services include primer design for Sanger-based DNA sequencing, assistance with strategies for sequencing difficult templates, and assistance troubleshooting failed sequencing reactions. The facility hosts seminars and holds classes to introduce new services.
