Continuing Medical Education (CME) Information
The videos in this section are approved for Continuing Medical Education (AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM in medical ethics and/ or professional responsibility) through The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. CME Certificates will be provided within 10 business days of completion.
Risk Management Education Credit (RME) Information
All active, full-time medical staff and clinical trainees are required to obtain five credit hours of risk management education (RME) every year. Any module listed in the RME section can be taken for RME credit. You may apply for both CME and RME credits for the same module, but you MUST view the video through the CME link. The Fundamental Principles and Managing Difficult Communication modules will allow you to register and print both RME and/or CME certificates online. For all other modules, you must view the video and then print the CME forms (found on the right side of the video page) and/or the RME form (found below the video window) and send to the appropriate offices.
NOTE: RME credit is available only to Physicians enrolled in The University of Texas Professional Liability Insurance Plan.
