For The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Employees Only
How to Apply for Risk Management Education (RME) Credit
All active, full-time M. D. Anderson Cancer Center medical staff and clinical trainees are required to obtain five credit hours of Risk Management Education per year. Carry-over credit from year to year is not allowed. A one-time credit is allowed for each module.
You may not view the same module in another one year period and get credit for it.
Note: #12 ACE lecture series - To obtain RME you may either attend or view online.
Below you will find video material available for RME credit. These videos are identical to the ones you’ll find in other parts of this Web site. However they are organized in "modules" or "courses" so that RME credit is awarded.
To obtain RME credit, review all the links for the module in order and view all videos. The links will open a new window. When finished, close the window to return to this page and complete the Risk Management Continuing Education Form (pdf) by checking off sessions you have viewed, sign, date and fax to:

3 - Managing Difficult Communication: Mrs. Anderson (Clinical Trials, Recurrence, Saying Goodbye)
(1 RME Credit Hour - 67:25) Mrs. Anderson has been referred to a medical oncologist without much explanation for the reason. She is a candidate for a clinical trial comparing three different adjuvant therapy regimens.
