John S. Dunn Research Foundation Center for Radiological Sciences
Mission and Overview
The section of Interventional Radiology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center currently operates a well-equipped translational research facility, the John S. Dunn Research Foundation Center for Radiological Sciences. The mission of the Center is to improve the management of the cancer patient through development and teaching of imaging-guided minimally invasive techniques for treatment and diagnosis. These facilities allow faculty to take clinical problems, translate them into research models and develop solutions, which are then reintroduced into the clinic. Since its inception, the Center has evolved into one of the world’s premier interventional radiology research facilities, unparalleled in its resources and translational productivity.
