Faculty and Staff

Over the past seven years, both institutional and philanthropic support have fueled the recruitment of 18 highly talented immunologists to the CCIR.  Currently, CCIR faculty represent the departments of Immunology, Lymphoma & Myeloma, Melanoma Medical Oncology, Dermatology, the Section of Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy and the Division of Pediatrics, reflecting the multidisciplinary research conducted at the center. In addition, the Immunology Laboratory for Physician Scientists (ILPS) was established to provide a platform and laboratory space for MD Anderson clinical faculty whose departments lack administrative leadership and infrastructure in immunology. Approximately 290 people work at the CCIR as faculty, research staff, postdoctoral/clinical fellows, graduate students and administrative staff.  The MD Anderson South Campus Research Building I houses all CCIR laboratories, core facilities and administrative offices.
