Note: It is very helpful to bring a letter of credit from your previous company when establishing new electrical service.

Some areas of Houston have been incorporated into separate cities that offer some municipal services such as utilities. For example, the City of Bellaire has its own water, sewer and refuse departments. While its residents use these services, they still must obtain gas, electricity and phone services from the companies listed above.
