Chapel & Outreach Opportunities

Houston has various religious denominations and places of worship from which to choose. If you are seeking a specific denomination or location, the Houston Interfaith Ministries Central
Office, (713) 533-4900 may be helpful. Also, the Houston Chronicle features a Religion section in its Saturday edition.

M. D. Anderson Chapel
The M. D. Anderson chapel is located between the R. Lee Clark Clinic Building and the Lutheran Hospital Pavilion. The entrance is on the first floor opposite the entrance to the main cafeteria. An interdenominational chapel, it is open to persons of all faiths. Several chaplains serve M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and, although their primary responsibilities are to the patients and their families, they are also available to employees and may be contacted at (713) 792-7184. Regular services are held every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. (Catholic Mass Spanish), 10:00 a.m. (Catholic Mass English), and 11:00 a.m. (Worship Service).
