Immunology Program Travel Awards
The Immunology Program Steering Committee and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences have approved the use of Immunology Program funds for student travel awards for Immunology Program students. Four awards will be offered in 2009; each award will be $500. The funds are to be used for student travel to national meetings to present research results. The expenses submitted for reimbursement must not be duplicated with funding from other sources.
Applications should be submitted by the student to the Immunology Program director, and can be submitted by e-mail or regular mail. The student should ensure that all components of the application are provided. The applications will be reviewed by the Immunology Program director and Steering Committee and students will be notified by e-mail or regular mail, approximately three weeks after the deadline.

Requirements
- Student must be affiliated with the GSBS Immunology Program
- Letter of application from the student
- Letter of recommendation from the student’s advisor
- Meeting abstract, including title and authors
- Location and dates of meeting
