Faculty
The strength of the Immunology Graduate Program not only lies within the quality of research conducted by our faculty, but also by the diversity of approaches taken to address their areas of interest in immunology. Many faculty members are considered to be experts in their field of specialization, and many have received numerous awards in recognition of their outstanding scientific achievements. In general, faculty members typically utilize approaches involving biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, genomics/proteomics, microbiology and molecular biology to investigate key issues in basic and translational immunology research, as shown below. Throughout their graduate training, students can frequently interface with faculty members to increase the depth and breadth of their training in immunology research.
