Each year more than 1,000 clinical residents and fellows come to M. D. Anderson to receive specialized training in more than 60 residency/fellowships programs that are committed to the investigation and treatment of cancer. With more than 79,000 patients admitted yearly, M. D. Anderson provides an exceptional environment for learning and prepares physicians to be leaders in their chosen specialty.
Programs at M. D. Anderson are held to the educational standards of the ACGME by the Graduate Medical Education Committee and approved by the senior vice president for academic affairs.
