Project: Orthovoltage CT and Its Application
My project is to design a multi-spectral high-energy CT (HECT) scanner to significantly reduce imaging artifacts due to metal objects, to produce acceptable image quality for soft tissue target delineation, and to improve the accuracy of electron-density-ratio (EDR) and stopping-power-ratio (SPR) calculations.
