Project: Respiratory-gated Beam Delivery Technique with Synchrontron-based Proton Therapy
The goal of my research is to develop methods to optimize dose delivery of synchrotron based proton beams for mobile tumors. To accomplish this goal, I will conduct a simulation study and a series of measurements. The implementation of the optimized beam delivery into clinical practice will allow us to significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of proton treatment for lung cancer patients.
