Project: Evaluation of Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy Dose Delivery Using the Radiological Physics Center Head and Neck Phantom
The purpose of this project is to measure and evaluate the accuracy of the dose delivered by Varian RapidArc and Elekta VMAT using the Radiological Physics Center (RPC) head and neck phantom. The measured dose delivered will be compared to that calculated by each technique’s treatment planning software. The accuracy of these two systems will be compared to 6 MV IMRT, an established technique.
