Project: Time Efficient Diffusion Spectrum Imaging (DSI)
My research project is aimed at improving the current techniques of performing brain white matter tractography using Diffusion Spectrum Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This involves developing robust, time efficient data acquisition and analysis techniques and developing diffusion phantoms. The successful completion of this project has the potential in furthering the diagnosis and management of numerous neurodegenerative diseases and in refining the current understanding of the connectivity in normal human brain.
