Global Academic Programs Conference 2010More than 175 people from the United States and 18 other countries met on April 13-16, 2010 at MD Anderson for the 2010 Global Academic Programs Conference. The primary objective was to continue to strengthen the network of our sister institutions and affiliates by facilitating interactions and collaborations focusing on patient care, prevention and education.

Plenary Sessions included presentations on creating a biobank, establishing a tumor registry, designing clinical trails for international participation, personalized medicine, drug development and phase I trials, breast multidisciplinary care, hematological malignancies and epidemiology and cancer control.
