General Information
Goal/Objectives
- The primary objective this year is to continue to strengthen the network of our sister institutions and affiliates by facilitating interactions and collaborations focusing on patient care, prevention, and education.
- Plenary Sessions will include presentations on creating a biobank, establishing a tumor registry, designing clinical trails for international participation, personalized medicine, drug development and phase I trials, breast multidisciplinary care, hematological malignancies, and epidemiology and cancer control.
The Nursing Program comprises of three (3) days and will be held Wednesday through Friday, April 14-16, 2010 and the goals and objectives are the following:
- Program Objectives
- Investigate the scope of global oncology nursing practice, education, research and leadership.
- Explore issues and trends that influence oncology nursing care delivery and best practices.
- Determine and discuss strategies, structures and resources to implement evidence-based practices.
- Examine a sense of commitment to excellence in oncology nursing through networking and collaboration.

This conference is intended for all faculty, staff, nurses and nurse directors, and cancer center directors at our network sister institutions and other affiliations around the world.
