To become a patient at MD Anderson, fill out our online self-referral form, or have your doctor complete the physician referral form.
New patients can also call the Endocrine Center at (713) 563-4400 and request a referral with one of our three endocrine surgeons. Dr. Perrier is the Associate Director of the Endocrine Center.

Your First Appointment
To ensure an accurate and timely diagnosis, please bring as much information as possible for your first visit. In addition to your medical records, these include:
- Ultrasound scans
- Parathyroid sestamibi scans
- X-rays
- Bone scans
- CT scans
- MRI scans
- Pathology slides: hand-carry, or arrange to have them sent to our pathologists for review before your first appointment
Often, a definitive diagnosis cannot be made at the initial appointment, and further tests may be necessary. Some tests can be done the day before or the same day as your clinic visit. Other tests may take longer to schedule, so be prepared to stay in Houston for several days in some cases.
