Fall Course 2013 - Disparities in Health in America: Working Toward Social Justice

The annual Health Disparities Course examines the social and societal factors that are fundamental in creating disparities in health. The course focuses on the formulation of public policy objectives to reduce and ultimately eliminate heath disparities.

The 2013 Fall coursewill be held at a to-be-determined university within the Houston area, with telecast to universities belonging to the HDEART Consortium.  It is open to anyone interested in health disparities issues, including undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and other health care professionals. In order to receive college credit, students must register for the course during the enrollment period at their university.
